In 2012 a variety of volunteer groups have provided annual medical exams to the community of Patanatic. On April 30th to May 5th a volunteer team from Medical Mission Foundation (MMF) based in Overland Park, Kansas, visited Patanatic to continue providing access to medical care and to complete the annual medical exams for the families of Patanatic.
The MMF team was able to provide medical care to the families of Sector 1 and Sector 2 of Patanatic. The team also provided neonatal care to expecting mothers and elderly medical check-ins for the seniors in the community. They worked to distribute water filters which were donated by Rotary International. Additionally, MMF facilitated engaging educational activities for the kids and families.
