Patanatic Nurse Assitances

August up date!

Hola amigos!

August brings great great news!

Patanatic will have its own nurses soon!
Many of you know that Patantic has four students that since 2011 where receiving support to complete theirs studies as Nurse Assitance.

The Community of Patanatic is proud to anounce that the students: Ana, Sonia, Yolanda and David complete the school requirements and they will be have their Graduation Ceremony on September 20, 2012.

We congratulate this amaizing students that soon will become the firts Nurse available in Patanatic.  They will part of the Staff of the Centro Educativo y Salud Patanatic-CESP.

David, Sonia, Yolanda and Ana will continue coordinating the work of the local and international medical and non medical volunteers.

This historical momento in the life of Community of Patanatic reflects the committment of the community in support their future generations and it is clear example of a sustenability of the Patanatic project... Today Patanatic has a Community Education and Health Center but now they also have the Nurse that will provide access to education and health the the children and families of Patantic.

Congratulation Sonia, Yolanda, David and Ana... you are a real example of leadership! and congratulation to the community of Patanatic for its own new Nurses!


Patanatic Neonatal Program!
The Community Education and Health Center  (CESP) continues providing access to health to the new babies and mother in the community of Patanatic. Montly well exams has been provided to the babies. During this year nine new babies had been born in Patanatic.  Congratulations to the proud parents!



Nutrition and Education Center - Construction  Up date
Thank you to the support of  Leawood and Olathe Rotary Clubs and the Schloegel Design Remodel Inc the construction committee of Patanatic was able to purchase the plumbing materials, electrical wire and the ceramic tile.  The construction comittee made great progress in the last two weeks.
The next steps is the purchase of the doors and windows of the center and soon they will work in the school class rooms that will be used for the nutrition classes, CPR training, etc.
